Once a Day Marketing™ featured video blog: Experiential Marketing

Hello, I’m Jim Glover, That Branding Guy, for Once a Day Marketing. Today is Action Wednesday and we are discussing one of my favorite marketing channels to promote your brand: experiential.

Simply put, experiential marketing enables your customers to engage with your product or service through some form of participation or activity. The more memorable and rewarding the experience, the better the brand enhancement.

We recently completed an exhibit for the City of Santa Rosa, NM Visitors Center called the Route 66 Drivin’ Experience. The exhibit creates the illusion of driving across Route 66 through New Mexico using point-of-view video. In a just a few minutes, visitors travel from Arizona to Texas enjoying the back roads of Route 66 as it looks today. The exhibit is truly unique and memorable.

Festivals, arts, tours and attractions, sports and cause marketing are great places to create opportunities for your customers to experience your brand. Experiment with experiential marketing; it’s a nice option to add to your marketing mix.
