Hello, I’m Jim Glover, That Branding Guy, for Once a Day Marketing™. Today is Strategic Tuesday and we are discussing an entrepreneur’s efforts to brand a new chocolate company.

On our radio show Ask Those Branding Guys, we spoke with Steve Whitman, chocolatier/owner of Choco Canyon Artisan Chocolate, an independently owned artisan chocolate company. Whitman, a former economic development professional, followed his heart and love of making chocolate to launch his new company.

Whitman discusses the strategy he is using to build his brand and target potential new customers. He shares his latest branding successes and challenges, including his effort to establish more places for customers to purchase his product. Glover and Hayduk shared branding tips for Whitman to follow as he continues to roll out his brand.

Ask Those Branding Guys also looked at positioning brands to be #1 in the minds of target customers. Glover and Hayduk shared why mindshare is critical and how it leads to market share.

Enjoy the podcast.
